Meet My Stained Glass Cacti Collection

Over the past few months I have been learning a new skill. Copper Foiling.

What’s that? I hear you ask. It’s a type of stained glass where the edges of the cut glass pieces are taped with a copper foil tape before soldering, whereas stained glass you’re probably more familiar with (window/door panels) a lead rod/came is used before soldering the pieces together.

The copper foiling method allows for more complex designs as well as three dimensional work.

So I’ve been pottering away both in a course as well as in my studio, practicing my cutting and soldering technique and now I have a small collection of three and two dimensional sculptures that I’m really proud off and ready to show you all and hopefully you will love them too.

Keep on scrolling to see a couple of my designs and if you would like to see and buy from my full collection please head to my Stained Glass Cactus Page
