A little departure from my Botanical Lino Prints, my Crow Lino Prints came about when recovering from hip surgery. I would often go on little Physio walks around my neighbourhood and see lots of Crows around. I love these marvellous Ravens, with their quirky little attitudes and their hop and skipping mannerisms, so I decided to do a series of Lino Prints of them
All of my Crow Lino Prints are printed by hand using the lovely 36gsm Awagami Kitakata Green or 80gsm Ho-Sho Japanese paper with an cut edge and due to the nature of how the paper is made there may be some flecks on the surface, but, I feel, these add to the character of the piece
